Sometimes I look back at all of the film and television work I've done, and it seems like it's someone else's life I'm looking at. Some of the names of projects and people that I've been involved with are just mind-boggling. From classic Australian television dramas/soaps like Neighbours, The Flying Doctors, Prisoner, and others, through light entertainment programs like Hey, Hey, It's Saturday, The Don Lane Show and Sale of the Century, to news and current affairs programs like A Current Affair, Today Tonight, and the evening news of every Australian network; from the superstars of music like John Farnham, Kylie Minogue and David Bowie to classic actors like Richard Harris, Michael York and Sophia Loren - I've certainly managed to get around.

I've been working in the Australian film and television industry since 1982, though my involvement in recent years has taken a huge backseat to my multimedia and education work. More recently I've been redeveloping my writing and directing muscles doing live theatre. It's been incredibly rewarding, and I'm glad to be getting back into it. I now have a small collection of short stageplays and screenplays - most have already been produced, and all are available for further production. Here's a sample:

So far in my theatrical directing life I've managed to kick quite a few goals. A theatrical competition that I direct for has been particularly successful, and of the four plays I've directed, all have won their round of the competition. Very pleasing!!

A couple of years ago I optioned the Australian novel Innocents by Cathy Coote, and I wrote a screenplay based upon it. Whilst the script is not yet at the final draft stage, it is now available for production. I have included a small sample of the screenplay on this site for your perusal. Please keep in mind that the screenplay remains copyrighted to me, and the book upon which it is based remains copyright Cathy Coote. All you big studio execs, send me an email if you want to throw money at me to get this movie made.

I also have the first draft of a completely original screenplay called "Good Behaviour" ready for further development.

I remain available for other writing, producing and directing projects. I have years of experience in news, current affairs, corporate communications, comedy and drama, and have several international awards under my belt.
